REMINDERS:
- Do not forget to make your index cards with rules and procedures on a daily basis. YOU MAY USE THEM DURING TESTS!
- Homework must be kept in your binder at all times.
- Tests need to be signed by parents and kept in the binder. Corrections need to be done in the notebook.
- Please bring your book, notebook, binder, and pencil case to class EVERY DAY.
- SHOW YOUR WORK ALL THE TIME!!
INFORMATION FOR PARENTS:
DONATIONS - Moving? Cleaning out? Community Service Club is
collecting used toys in good condition to take with them on their monthly
visits to Nuestros Pequeños Hermanos orphanage. Toys can be dropped off
in Mrs. Agurcia's room (Rm. 7, Secondary Building)
EARLY CHILDHOOD AND ELEMENTARY LUNCHEON –
The Cafeteria will be hosting a luncheon for parents and students this Friday,
May 23. The ordering slips were sent home last week! Let’s support our school
cafeteria by ordering lunch and having parents come and eat with their
child(ren). Please send the orders in as soon as possible!
END OF THE YEAR REPORT CARDS AND MAP REPORTS – We
would like all our parents to know that the end of the year Report Cards and
final MAP reports will be distributed on Friday,
June 13_ as stated in our
school calendar.
DISCOVERY ZONE – Our Summer
camp is back! Join us and allow your children to have a fun-filled three weeks
at the beginning of their summer. Spread the word among family and friends and

SUMMER SCHOOL (MIDDLE AND HIGH SCHOOL ONLY) - The school administration will soon be notifying parents about summer school. The school reserves the right to
require a student to attend summer school or remedial courses based on, but not
limited to the following:
· MAP
Scores
· Inadequate
progress on MAP test throughout the school year
· Academic
performance as reflected in the Report Cards and Narratives
· Recommendation
from the teacher for needed reinforcement during summer
· Any
Final Grade below 65%
Summer
School will take place from June 9 – 20. Written communication and emails were sent home last week
PASSING GRADE ACCORDING TO THE MINISTRY OF EDUCATION - We would like to remind parents that the passing grade,
according to new regulations, is 70% for the Ministry of Education. Your child
needs to score at least 70% in order to avoid coming to recuperation exam/s. We
encourage you to check blogs and Engrade on a weekly basis, and to keep close
communications with teachers.
