MAP TOOLKIT
Do you want to improve your MAP scores? For math, look at your RIT range by goal strand for Fall 2012 (Use the index card we made in class). Use these numbers to select appropriate activities under each goal area. For example, if your RIT range for Geometry is 175-190, you would go to the click on the 171-180 and 181-190 links under Geometry and Measurement in order for find activities at your level. Since Geometry and Measurement are grouped together, you would be looking for geometry skills, such as shapes. Here is the math website:

Baskets for our Support Personnel
Christmas is the season to open our hearts and share with those around us that need it most. It has been a tradition at Discovery School for students to come together and contribute in assembling baskets of goods for our support personnel.  We are asking for your cooperation in sending the following:
6th grade students        1 5-lb bag of beans
7th grade students        1 5-lb bag of rice
Please feel free to send any additional goodies that you want to share with our devoted staff, such as canned goods, instant soups, cookies and crackers, or anything else that does not require refrigeration.  Please send these items no later than Friday, December 14th. Your cooperation will be deeply appreciated.
